Hyatt Regency New Orleans along with Chevron, Human Rights Campaign, Greater New Orleans Foundation, French Quarter Giving Fund, Mardi Gras Productions, PFLAG New Orleans, Covenant House, St. Thomas Community Health Center, NOLA HYPE, Rivertown Theaters of the Performing Arts, The Louisiana Campain for Tobacco-Free Living and Jewish Pride NOLA (a program of the Jewish Federation of GNO) invite LGBTQ youth ages 16-20 to Pride Prom 2024 featuring special performances by The Pussyfooters and Big Freedia!
Who's invited: LGBTQ and LGBTQ supporting youth ages 16-20
When: Friday, May 24, from 7:30pm-11pm
Where: Hyatt Regency New Orleans – 601 Loyola Ave.
Attire: Formal attire OR whatever makes you feel Fabulous. NO LOOSE GLITTER plz

Can adults attend NOLA Pride Prom? NOLA Pride Prom is ONLY for LGBTQ and LGBTQ supporting youth ages 16-20.
Is an RSVP necessary to attend? YES
Will there be alcohol served at NOLA Pride Prom? No. This event is alcohol-free.
Will there be chaperones at NOLA Pride Prom? Yes. Representatives from Hyatt Regency New Orleans, PFLAG NOLA, and Jewish Pride NOLA will be on site to supervise the event.
Is there FREE parking available? No. Valet Parking is available at the Hyatt Regency. Hourly parking is also available at the Girod St. garage and at the Dave and Busters garage on Poydras.

PFLAG New Orleans has been serving LGBTQ+ families in the Southeastern Louisiana area for 40 years. During that time, 500+ scholarships have been awarded to very gifted LGBTQ+ students in the state. One of those recipients, Sidney Alvarez, has pointed to his 1994 Scholarship as a critical part of his skyrocketing, Emmy-winning journalism career. Here is his story, as told by Mr. Alvarez.
