Our monthly meetings in Covington are a way for parents, family, and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people as well as members of the LGBT community on the Northshore to meet in a loving, non-judgmental, and understanding environment, so they can share their experiences and learn from others who have gone through what they have gone through to become stronger, without having to make the long trip across the Causeway to New Orleans.
The monthly PFLAG meeting on the Northshore follows the same general guidelines as our meeting in New Orleans, and like New Orleans, attract a similar mix of people.
